Nicki Minaj’s “Pound The Alarm” Video: Watch Her Feather-Filled Romp In The Sun
Earlier this month, Nicki Minaj hit up the sunny location of Trinidad — which also just happens to be her birthplace — to shoot the video for Roman Reloaded single “Pound The Alarm”. The result is a sun-drenched affair that features the MTV Video Music Award-nominated rapstress decked out in a colorful array of feathers (and, well, not much else) as she bumps, grinds and shakes it with alarm-pounding fervor.
In the Benny Boom-directed clip, confetti flies, fireworks explode, Nicki’s background dancers twirl and the locals celebrate as Minaj bounces and makes things “sexy and hotter” in her homeland. Our favorite bit: the semi-creepy “Blue Devils” with wings and whips. Watch Nicki shut it down in fishnets above.
