Beyonce To Direct & Star In Documentary About Her Life And Career
Undaunted by the so-so box office intake of Katy Perry‘s recent 3D attempt Part Of Me, Beyonce is reportedly forging ahead with a concert footage-filled epic of her own. The 4 songstress and her reps at agency ICM have been shopping a documentary around to various studios, reports the Los Angeles Times. The focus is said to be Bey’s life and career, and it blends “concert footage with confessional interview,” a source told the paper.
Several distributors have apparently been shown 20 minutes of footage. (And we can’t imagine this project not getting picked up in a snap.) Beyonce will direct, produce and, obviously, star in the doc. Let’s just hope she saves screen time for a segment on the boy with the Snuggie who recreated her “Countdown” video.
