G.O.O.D. Music Reveal Chilly ‘Cruel Summer’ Album Cover

G.O.O.D. Music’s debut compilation album, Cruel Summer, isn’t just a Kanye West album (pretty much everyone on the G.O.O.D. Music label makes an appearance), but Yeezy’s influence is all over the cover. The piece (which looks like it was crafted out of clay) evokes classical art, much like West and Jay-Z‘s gold-plated, similarly word-less Watch The Throne artwork. The bigger indication that West was the brain behind this cover? The fact that the Grecian woman’s breasts are prominently displayed, a recurring image in Kanye’s cover art. Wonder if he got Kim Kardashian to pose?

Cruel Summer‘s release date has been pushed back from August 7 to September 4, which technically still falls in the summer season. It’s a cruel summer, indeed, that would deliver such a chilly, colorless cover art.
