In his new video for “Celebrate”, a pair-up with Pharrell Williams, singer Mika tries to pen the perfect lyrics while composing a new tune at his piano. Frustration ensues and torn paper stacks up until the UK crooner realizes he simply wants the whole world to celebrate. And that includes himself, as we see Mika jet off to a dance club and boogie down in a state of euphoria, leaving his cares behind in the process.

The “Celebrate” video was directed BB-Gun and shot in New York. As for the song itself, which will appear on Mike’s upcoming The Origin Of Love LP, the singer explains, “Written by me, Pharrell and Fryars and produced by [Empire Of The Sun‘s] Nick [Littlemore], this kind of collaboration is only possible when everyone throws themselves into it wanting to have fun and without any ego. This collective and open attitude was at the heart of The Origin Of Love. It’s an album about crazy love songs and tolerance.” Watch above!
