Fans hoping for a one-two punch of Frank Ocean and Coldplay are going to be disappointed — the “Bad Religion” crooner has pulled out of a bunch of upcoming shows citing mysterious scheduling conflicts. “I feel like an asshole right now,” he said in a statement regarding a “tough decision” that had to be made regarding his schedule.

On Friday, Ocean abruptly dropped out of the Oya Festival after performing just four songs, because of “vocal problems.” He also cancelled his Way Out West appearance yesterday along with ten dates opening for Coldplay throughout Europe, and other festival dates, about which he says he is “sorry as fuck.” Read his full statement after the jump.

It’s a shame to hear that an artist who is so on the rise as Frank Ocean won’t be able to perform at these dates, since he could sure use the exposure that comes along with opening for a massive act like Coldplay. Whatever his reasons are, we hope he works them out and gets back on the stage soon! Are you sorry to see Frank cancel his shows? Let us know on Facebook, Twitter or in the comments.
