JoJo might be scrapping her Jumping Trains album, but she’s full steam ahead on a sexier, more grown-up sound, with her new single “Demonstrate” leading the way. MTV News caught up with the 21-year-old on set of her video for her new Noah “40” Shebib-produced tune, and JoJo gave us a sneak peek at what to expect. “Demonstrate”, she says, is “buttoned up but freaky at the same time, so that’s what I wanted this video to feel like.”

Over shots of the singer laying seductively on her back, singing through her birdcage veil, and straddling a lucky young man as JoJo describes what’s going on: “There’s a little but of a cat and mouse game,” she says. We also get a shot of two shirtless male dancers busting out some moves to the slow-jam. “I wanted to show dancers doing their thing to this, because I think even though this is a slow tempo song, there’s absolutely a feeling of wanting to move to it,” she explains.

“Demonstrate” hits iTunes on August 28.
