If you flipped on the TV this morning and found yourself wondering if it was somehow 1999 all over again, that’s because boy band (excuse us — man band) 98 Degrees gave their first performance in a decade on the Today Show, ahead of their Mixtape Festival gig this weekend in Hershey, Pennsylvania.  “It feels like just yesterday we were doing this the first time around,” Nick Lachey said before the gents launched into their 98 Degrees And Rising ballad “I Do (Cherish You)”. That said, Drew Lachey cracked that the guys, now a bit older, were feeling a little rusty, and that he was suffering “back pain, knee pain, throat pain, hip pain” after rehearsing all week.

And good news for fans of the group: Nick promised, “I think you can expect more from us down the line.” His brother Drew added, “For us, pop music has come back around, and now is the right time in our personal lives and our professional lives to get back together and make another run at it.”

Watch them belt out “The Hardest Thing” above, and three more of their old hits below.
