Listen To Trey Songz’s “So Sophisticated” Remix
Self-declared panty-dropper Trey Songz just released his own, pretty good fifth album. But after applying his buttery vocals across everything from rap verses to a slow-burn rock track on his Chapter V, Songz evidently hungered for more: he’s got his grubby hands all over “So Sophisticated” — the best cut off Rick Ross‘ new album God Forgives, I Don’t. (To be fair, we don’t blame him.)
Songz’s lyrics are standard rap fare, in that it calls out the fakers (“story fabricated”) and the haters (100,000 of them, to be exact). So while his lone voice may not fully measure up to both Rozay and Meek Mill‘s verses from the original, his remix does give us yet another reason to relish the that sweet, hard-hitting Beat Bully instrumental.
