If you’re not yet up on Jake Miller, allow us to introduce you to this rapping, singing and songwriting triple threat from Florida. (He’s also adept at playing guitar and drums — and he’s only 19.) In addition to opening for Snoop Dogg and Mac Miller, Jake has also performed with Flo Rida and Asher Roth and will hit the stage this Saturday (September 1) along with Sammy Adams and Kat Graham for a gig sponsored by Miami’s Y-100 FM.

Ahead of that, we’re premiering Miller’s “Day Without Your Love” video, which the MC describes as personal favorite visual so far. Watch above.

“It starts with an old man visiting his wife at the cemetery,” Miller explains. “From there, he flashes back to when they were younger. He remembers the good times with her, the bad times, the hard times, etc. Most importantly, he remembers that even through the tough times, they were able to get through it together. The video shows how he met the love of his life when he was only 15 and how they grew old together.”

And if you’re wondering if there’s a personal connection between the subject matter and this budding artist’s own personal life, he offers this:  “Just like how an artists’ music has to mature and develop, so do his or her videos. This song/video tells the story of a girl in my life that I can’t live a day without.”
