Stream Dragonette’s ‘Bodyparts’ Album

Canadian dance-pop outfit Dragonette finally pushed into the mainstream last year with their #1 Hot Dance Club Songs Martin Solveig collaboration, “Hello.” That big pop sound is front and center on their third studio album, Bodyparts, which might not feature as many immediately catchy tracks as their debut, Galore, but has the group’s signature sharp, well-produced sheen. First single “Let It Go” is a decadent midtempo synthpop turn with a soaring chorus. And their latest, “Live In This City,” is quirkier and janglier but no less hook-driven. Dragonette remain one of the more underrated acts in the pop game, but the recent boost in their visibility might be just the ticket to make them a known commodity in the states. The album hits digital retailers September 25, but it’s already streaming in full over at Hype Machine.
