Releasing that gorgeous cover of “Blue Velvet” was an effective way for Lana Del Rey to tide over her fans (and stack that H&M paper real high), but Del Rey’s Born to Die: Paradise Edition era is kicking in with her upcoming single “Ride.” The “Video Games” chanteuse recently released the cover artwork for the new single, which shows Del Rey swinging on a tire swing against a desert cliffside, looking bored, or maybe meditative, or maybe sad — or maybe all of the above. The one thing she definitely looks is absolutely stunning. The song is scheduled to premiere tomorrow (September 25) and will be available on iTunes the same day. Read on for details about the video shoot.

Del Rey was reportedly in Las Vegas earlier this month, as the Las Vegas Review-Journal wrote, where she shot the video for “Ride” in Valley of Fire State Park, known for its sandstone rock formations. “Video shoots took place at the Valley of Fire on Monday, the Clarion Hotel’s showroom on Sunday and at various downtown hotels,” the LVRH reported. “Extras were wearing biker gear and rode motorcycles.”

Yup — that sounds like a Lana Del Rey video.
