Ahead of the release of The Abbey Sessions (out November 6), Kylie Minogue‘s video for “Flower” has premiered. The song was originally penned during the singer’s sessions for 2007 LP X, and she even performed it on her subsequent tour. Alas, Minogue never properly recorded the fan favorite — until now.

In keeping with the rest of the orchestral material recorded by Kylie for The Abbey Road Sessions, “Flower” is less in the dance-pop vein and more of a mid-tempo number with real drums and lush strings dappled throughout. “Distant child, my flower, are you blowing in the breeze? / Can you feel me as I breathe life into you,” Kylie sings on the tender track.
