Lady Gaga Slut-Shamed By Staten Island Borough President
Staten Island Borough President James Molinaro launched an initiative to “stop glorifying drug use in the media,” and to get his point across, he zeroed in on Lady Gaga. Molinaro on Monday (September 24) showed photos of Gaga (legally) smoking weed on stage in Amsterdam to make the usual point that stars like her are influencing children…which, fine. Then? He called her a slut: “Here’s this…this…I would call her a slut. This slut is influencing many, many children.” Have fun with that, Molinaro spin doctors!
What does scary, scary marijuana have to do with Gaga’s sexual proclivities, slut-like or not? We’re not sure, but Molinaro was apparently fixated on the angle, continuing: “To me, she’s not an actress, she’s a slut…in the pure meaning of the word.” Considering he thinks she’s an actress, we doubt he has much insight into her sex life.
