Pet Shop Boys Are “Leaving” By Train In New Video

For the black and white video for “Leaving,” the second single off Pet Shop Boys‘ latest album Elysium, footage of a recent concert the duo put on in Berlin is woven in with images of commuters on a train — quite a literal interpretation of leaving. It’s a more low-budget affair than the visual for previous single “Winner,” but the track itself is one of Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe‘s most eloquent in decades, so all is forgiven.

The Boys recently announced that, as with all their singles, two new B-sides will come packaged in when “Leaving” arrives in various formats on October 15. In addition to various remixes, look for “Hell” and “In His Imagination” — along with the original demos for “Leaving” and “Baby” (penned by PSBs but originally recorded in 2009 by Alcazar) — in mid-October.
