:: George Michael has canceled a string of Australian dates so that he can get treatment for anxiety stemming from a 2011 health scare. The 49-year-old Brit spent three weeks in the hospital last November during a bout with pneumonia. [Entertainment Weekly]

:: Pussy Riot‘s appeal hearing was postponed after one member of the jailed punk group fired her attorney. Yekaterina Samutsevich told the court she disagreed with the lawyers’ handling of the case. The hearing will now take place on October 10. [Rolling Stone]

:: She has ranted against her arresting officers and apologized to fans, but now Fiona Apple is calling out gossip sites who have been bullying her (specifically regarding her appearance) in light of the marijuana arrest. She mentioned Perez Hilton and TMZ, making a basic plea that they stop hurting her and other people’s feelings. Apple added, “Don’t call me frail, everybody.
