Rick Ross, Drake & Lil Reese’s “Us”: Hear ‘The Black Bar Mitzvah’ Remix

Rick Ross just dropped his free mixtape The Black Bar Mitzvah and we’re still digesting the Bawse’s latest batch of new music. But one standout track is the remix of Lil Reese‘s “Us” featuring Drake and the Chicago MC. Drake sounds more playful and boastful than he has recently, forgoing the mopey route with lines like “Just got back from Turks & Caicos hoes all at the villa / Only nigga making albums with no fucking filla / New deal on the table look like bout like 10 milla.” Hear the track after the jump.

Lil Reese’s original was produced by Young Chop, who also helmed fellow Chicagoan Chief Keef‘s “I Don’t Like.” So it’s not surprising that “Us” uses the same formula: foreboding bells, snare snaps and a growled chorus. It just so happens “I Don’t Like” was also remixed on The Black Bar Mitzvah (as well as on Cruel Summer). Furthering the inbreeding, Rozay remixes G.O.O.D. Music’s “Mercy,” which already got a remix on Lil Wayne‘s free mixtape Dedication 4.
