PSY, The Killers, Pitbull & Alicia Keys Added To 2012 MTV EMAs
“Gangnam Style” has already gone global, and it shows no sign of stopping: Professional dancing pastel suit PSY has just been added to the line-up for the 2012 MTV Europe Music Awards, alongside fellow newly confirmed performers The Killers, Pitbull and Alicia Keys. Those most recent four additions join already confirmed stars like Taylor Swift, Carly Rae Jepsen and Rita Ora — among several others.
MTV News reports that while Keys and Pitbull will both be playing tracks from their respective upcoming albums, PSY will, unsurprisingly, be performing “Gangnam Style.” As PSY himself explained in a statement: “Since this is my first time to not only be nominated for an international award but perform in front of a worldwide audience, I am excited to give up my international virginity to the MTV EMA!” The EMAs air November 11.
