Stooshe’s “See Me Like This”: Watch The Retro-Soul Lyric Video

Our infatuation with Stooshe reached new heights upon the release of their gorgeous, soul-inflected single “Black Heart,” and they may have topped even that with their latest: A new track called “See Me Like This,” which packs more ’60s girl group flavor than, well, most ’60s girl groups. Over layers of strings and drums that evoke Duffy‘s “Mercy” and well-placed snapped fingers, the girls’ vocals harmonize gorgeously as they sing a sweet, sad song of romantic frustration.

The sonic merits of “See Me Like This” would be enough on their own, but it’s also paired with one of the better lyric videos we’ve seen in recent memory: Featuring the three ladies of the group serving simple but elegant choreography in glammed-out looks, it’s a definite evolution from the chaotic street style of their debut cut, “Love Me.” Watch the clip above, and prepare to be dazzled.
