Ke$ha Shares “Die Young” Video Details: Leads Cult & Takes Over Mexico

Ke$ha is still making us wait for the video for her latest single “Die Young,” but she revealed some additional details in a new interview, breaking down the video’s storyline — and, perhaps predictably, it sounds like a very Ke$ha plot. (This is the songbird who told Ryan Seacrest that she’d had sex with a ghost, after all.)

“It’s about me being a cult leader at the end of the world,” Ke$ha told Capital FM. “Everybody else is kind of scared and hiding, and we are running around like wild people, making out with each other and taking over a small border town in Mexico, and the federalis are after us because we’re so wild!” We’d act surprised, but given the enthusiasm that her animals have been known to show, K$ playing a cult leader isn’t such a leap.
