Eminem is returning in grand form in 2013. On October 29, he surreptitiously revealed that his eighth album will drop next year, and today he announced he’s executive producing singer Skylar Grey‘s constantly-delayed debut album, which is now called Don’t Look Down (out spring 2013). In addition to overseeing the project, Em will be featured on the lead single “C’mon Let Me Ride,” which was produced by Alex Da Kid and hits shelves on December 11. And Shady won’t just be rapping on the trackaccording to Complex, he’s also singing a Queen hook.

While Eminem and Skylar’s previous collaboration — “Love The Way You Lie,” which was co-written by Grey and went on to become a top-selling single of 2010 — was a gloomy affair, “C’mon Let Me Ride” should be a bit lighter. “We have worked on so many serious songs together — it’s a nice change of pace to do something fun and sarcastic,” Grey said. Last week, the two shot the music video for the song in Em’s hometown of Detroit, and the clip will premiere December 11 to coincide with the single’s release.
