Christina Aguilera, Mary J. Blige, Bruce Springsteen, & More Play For Hurricane Sandy Relief

If you thought Christina Aguilera would perform “Your Body” for the Hurricane Sandy telethon, you were wrong. Xtina instead trotted out an old, feel-good favorite that was more appropriate, in light of recent events, for Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together, NBC’s benefit aiding those whose lives were affected by the massive storm that rocked the East Coast last week.

The Voice star’s fellow performers also stuck to inspirational anthems, for good reason, with Jon Bon Jovi‘s usually-rousing, now-solemn take on “Livin’ On A Prayer” followed by Mary J. Blige‘s The Help ballad “The Living Proof,” Sting sending out an SOS with “Message in a Bottle” and Aerosmith tuning down the rocker vibe with “Dream On,” brought home by Bruce Springsteen‘s “Land of Hope and Dreams.” Catch them all after the jump!

Aerosmith – “Dream On”

Sting – “Message in a Bottle”

Jon Bon Jovi – “Livin’ On A Prayer”

Mary J. Blige – “The Living Proof”

Bruce Springsteen – “Land of Hope and Dreams”

Those who would like to help as these stars did can donate at the Red Cross. A fitting lineup for the victims of Hurricane Sandy? Tell us what you think in the comments!
