One Direction‘s American takeover may be going off without a hitch, but fellow Brits The Wanted have worked their way into one of America’s proudest traditions — the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. The boy band will be performing in the streets of New York City on the morning of November 22, along with Carly Rae Jepsen, Flo Rida, Karmin, Neon Trees and Colbie Caillat. In other words, you can watch all these acts lip-synching aboard elaborate floats as outlandish children’s show characters flank them, as is the grand American tradition. We’re picturing a pack of anthropomorphic turkeys dancing around Carly as she belts out “Call Me Gravy.”
