StooShe Perform “Betty Was Gone” Acoustically
What the hell is a StooShe? The UK trio headed to the Virgin Red Room to answer that question and more, revealing that they got their name out of the dictionary and added the “she” for female empowerment. They also performed their new single “Betty Was Gone” acoustically, and it’s a bit of a downer, thematically — it’s about a single mother/drug addict/prostitute.
Despite the grim subject matter, the ladies manage to sass it up with their signature pizzazz.
