Azealia Banks Discovers “Atlantis”: Watch The Seapunk Video
Azealia Banks took the seapunk leanings from her Fantasea mixtape and intensified the aesthetic for her “Atlantis” video. Directed by Fafi, the clip features the same Windows 95 screensaver style that Rihanna used during her performance of “Diamonds” on Saturday Night Live this weekend. But unlike Rihanna, the green-haired Banks went the goofy route, and spends much of the video riding Clip Art sea creatures. Banks’ recent videos have been all chic fashion and swagger, but it’s nice to see the Harlem rapper let loose in this one.
