Rihanna’s 777 Tour: Idolator’s Own Robbie Daw Discusses The Trip On ‘HuffPost Live’

Much has been discussed and dissected online in recent days regarding Rihanna‘s week-long 777 Tour, which saw her travel the globe with over 200 people in tow — including Idolator’s own managing editor, Robbie Daw. (That would be me.) Yesterday we all touched down back on American soil for RiRi’s final gig, at New York City’s Webster Hall. But before the show, I had a chat with HuffPost Live about my own take on the journey.

“[Rihanna] got all the press she wanted,” I noted. “I think from her reps’ points of views there were maybe some mistakes to learn from. And I think the next time it happens, it’ll probably happen more efficiently.” So was the whole 777 undertaking really just “a cruel social experiment”? Would I personally do it all again?
