Soul Train Awards 2012: Beyonce, Frank Ocean & Miguel Win Big, Ne-Yo & John Legend Perform

The 2012 Soul Train Awards, which were taped earlier this month at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, aired on BET last night (November 25), and the show featured big performances from a litany of R&B’s biggest names: Ne-Yo, MiguelJohn Legend, Keyshia Cole, Elle Varner and Stevie Wonder, among others.

And while no one swept the awards, the biggest winner was probably Beyonce, who took Best R&B/Soul Female Artist as well as Best Dance Performance for “Love On Top.” Varner nabbed Best New Artist, while the critically-beloved Miguel took home the win for Best R&B/Soul Male Artist, and Frank Ocean‘s Channel Orange won for Album of the Year.
