Taylor Swift Performs “I Knew You Were Trouble” & “Red” On ‘TODAY’
Taylor Swift‘s performance of “I Knew You Were Trouble” last weekend at the American Music Awards was a showstopper — but can she replicate that dynamic style, over and over again? In the case of yesterday’s set on the Australian morning show TODAY, she pulled it off, Swift delivering an energetic rendition of “Trouble” that impressed even if the production values weren’t nearly as dazzling here. Vocally, too, she didn’t sound quite as strong, but she still commanded the stage, both during “Trouble” and later, when she performed her album title track “Red” for fans.
