50 Cent, Adam Levine & Eminem Are On The Run In “My Life” Video: Watch

The Illustrious Comeback of Wayward Rap Superstar 50 Cent is upon us, and Fitty’s going for the pop jugular with “My Life,” a radio-friendly single assisted by an ultra-relevant pop superstar (Adam Levine) and a legendary hip-hop icon (Eminem). The video for the track just dropped, and it’s a glossy-cool, big-budget affair that shows all three artists (separately, but intercut) on the lam from — well, some kind of nefarious something. There’s surveillance, there’s sexy cars, there’s helicopters. It’s like an episode of Homeland, but with a far superior soundtrack to that awful jazz in the opening credits.

As Eminem explained to MTV News, it was more about creating a mood of paranoia than clearly identifying the source of it: “The video is kind of abstract,” he explained. “It’s kind of metaphoric in a sense, like the paranoia of feeling like we’re being chased.” Whatever works — it’s the most accessible thing 50’s done in a minute.

Watch up top.
