Adele’s ’21’ Is iTunes’ Best-Selling Album For Second Straight Year, “Call Me Maybe” Tops Song Sales

It’s been nearly two years since Adele released her sophomore LP 21, but for the second straight year it was the top-selling album on iTunes. Taylor Swift‘s Red came in second, followed by Mumford & Sons‘ Babel. One Direction‘s Up All Night and fun.‘s Some Nights rounded out the top five. No surprises there.

As for iTunes’ most-downloaded songs list, it’s familiar fare, too. Carly Rae Jepsen‘s mega-hit “Call Me Maybe” took the top spot. Gotye‘s fellow viral song “Somebody That I Used To Know” was next, followed by fun. once again (“We Are Young”), Maroon 5‘s “Payphone” and Nicki Minaj‘s “Starships.” Check out the full lists below.
