Pink’s Next Single Is “Just Give Me A Reason” With Fun.’s Nate Ruess, Probably
Pop chanteuse and occasional amateur acrobat Pink‘s latest single “Try” may have a few more weeks in it before it bows out of the charts (it’s currently in the lower reaches of the top 20), but the ballsy singer-songwriter already has her eye on a next single from her recent LP The Truth About Love: As she announced in a French video interview before her NRJ concert, she’s planning “Just Give Me A Reason” as the third single.
Bonus points for keeping it under wraps that she’s already shot a video for the ballad, which features fun. frontman Nate Ruess.
“The song is called ‘Just Give Me a Reason’ and it’s with Nate Ruess,” she said. “It’s one of my favorite songs that I’ve ever written, and I love his voice, I love his voice so much. And we did just shoot a video, but ask me tomorrow because I get to see the first copy tomorrow and I’m terribly nervous.”We’d be nervous, too — Pink made such an impact with her visuals for “Try,” probably a career high for her, that it will be hard to top with “Just Give Me a Reason.” Watch that song’s lyric video up top, then spend the rest of your life speculating feverishly about the concept for the clip.
