After several days of heated speculation, a new report has surfaced claiming that Britney Spears — world’s most compelling pop star, world’s least compelling reality TV judgestress — will not be returning to The X Factor, but not because she was fired. Oh no! You don’t fire Godney. The producers should know better than that.
No, according to TMZ, choosing not to return to the show is all Spears’ call: Reportedly, she wants to return to music, since she’s been cooking up dope beats (or something) in the studio with Hit-Boy (exciting!) and Will.i.am (oh no). A source says, “Britney loves Simon [Cowell], she likes Demi Lovato but her thing is music.” If her thing is music, no wonder she’s planning to exit The X Factor.
