Christina Aguilera — “Reflection”

Before she became the red-lipstick-wearing, fishnet-stretching, Voice-judging Legendtina we all know and love today, Ms. Aguilera was just a humble small-town girl with a song to sell. This pensive theme from Disney’s Mulan was her first big break, but it was, unfortunately, no match for Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli’s “The Prayer” from Quest For Camelot. Globes voters must have been avid watchers of the Disney Channel in 1997, because that was pretty much the only place anyone ever heard this song in regular rotation.
