Beyonce At The Super Bowl: Revisit 5 Epic Destiny’s Child Performances
Before Destiny’s Child went on hiatus, they gave one of their more memorable performances at the 2005 BET Awards. Dressed in form-fitting, floor-length gowns, the ladies did a special version of “Cater 2 You” when Kelly, Michelle and Beyonce gave NBA all-star Magic Johnson, actor Terrence Howard and rapper Nelly lap dances during the song. No one expected the girls to get as down and dirty as they did. (They even placed their legs over the guys’ shoulders.) But it looked like no one was complaining. The dancing became so popular that they included the routine to the final gigs of their tour. Usher and Babyface returned the favor with a special tribute performance of the song at the 2005 World Music Awards.
