Nicki Minaj Talks Mariah Drama On ‘The Tonight Show With Jay Leno’: Watch
As the premiere of American Idol approaches, Nicki Minaj is in full promo mode trying to squeeze every last ounce out of her much-publicized drama with Mariah Carey — so it’s really no surprise that their feud was covered in fairly thorough detail when Minaj stopped by The Tonight Show With Jay Leno for a little chat.
It wasn’t all tension and conflict — Minaj breezily recounted her early aspirations (she wanted to be a bus driver!) and professional beginnings as a theater student, as well as noting her first move if she were President: “I would legalize illegal U-turns” — but the real meat and potatoes is that Mimi fighting. And while Minaj concedes that she has a temper, she claimed, “In 2013, I am on the road to recovery.” Hopefully not too much — Idol needs it for the ratings. Watch up top.
