Jessica Simpson To Star In Sitcom Based On Her Life

Jessica Simpson sure has been busy lately! From being the new face of Weight Watchers to being pregnant for 20 years and then immediately becoming pregnant again, Simpson has had so much on her plate (metaphorically speaking) it’s a wonder she’s had the time to develop any new projects.

But magically, somehow, through sheer grit and determination, the “A Public Affair” songstress has pulled off a new professional accomplishment — she’s got a TV show, y’all!

Yes, Simpson is developing an NBC sitcom that would be loosely based on her life — Curb Your Enthusiasm-style — with the support of executive Ben Silverman as well as her father, The Morally Corrupt Joe Simpson. Though a pilot hasn’t officially been ordered yet — as of right now, it’s just a “presentation,” which means enough footage will be shot to order a season of the show — the project will be authored by Nick Bakay, who wrote Paul Blart: Mall Cop.

When asked for comment, the world said, “We are not worthy.”
