Lady Gaga Shopped At Kitson Kids For Some Reason

Lady Gaga treated herself to a little retail therapy at Kitson Kids in Los Angeles on Monday (January 21) just hours before her second show at the Staples Center. Normally, the fact that Mother Monster was seen shopping at a children’s clothing store would be cause for an eyebrow raise, but, quite frankly, we were too busy furrowing our brow over the pop star’s puzzling wardrobe choice. Gaga strolled down the street in a floor-length, puffy-sleeved print dress and floppy hat that would fit in quite nicely on a Nebraska farm in, say, the 1930s. (More specifically, she looks as though she took a style cue from Sesame Street‘s Prairie Dawn.)

All kidding aside, we assume the ARTPOP singer needed a break from the confines of her skin-tight Born This Way Ball tour wardrobe — and she deserves it. Just as Gaga deserved to take a helicopter to the Staples Center on Monday night. (Divas shouldn’t have sit in rush hour traffic with the common folk, after all.) Hop below to see fan pics from Lady Gaga’s show last night.
