While Lance Armstrong thrashes against the current of ill will flooding over him from a betrayed American public, his ex Sheryl Crow has announced she’ll be a mentor on the upcoming season of NBC’s The Voice. Crow will coach Blake Shelton‘s team, a spot that has been filled previously by Kelly Clarkson and Reba McEntire. Speaking about the announcement, Shelton called his friend Crow “one of the coolest people in the music industry.”

The new season of The Voice begins March 25 and will feature Shakira and Usher in place of Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green, which is sad news for fans of ridiculous The Voice GIFs.
