We know how soul-crushing it is when a blog post or a Very Important Email magically erases itself before we managed to hit “save,” so we can’t even imagine how musicians must feel when a song vanishes into the ether. That’s what happened to Nas, Frank Ocean and Hit-Boy last year, when the rumored Life is Good track “No Such Thing as White Jesus” was lost in the digital shuffle. But now the track has turned up!

The “White Jesus” triple threat was one of the most anticipated collaborations in hip-hop last year, but it never made it to Nas’ album after producer Hit-Boy misplaced the digital file and thought it was gone forever. But, good news for people who like to enjoy the fruits of their labor (and to hip-hop fans): the producer told MTV that some of Kanye West‘s engineers stumbled upon the track and sent it back. “I got the files now,” Hit-Boy said. “I don’t know exactly what’s gonna happen with it yet, but that song is gonna be heard by the world one day.”
