Miley Cyrus’ ‘Cosmopolitan’ Cover Story: Full Of F-Bombs & Loving Liam

Talk about prolific: Miley Cyrus has written about 40,000 love songs this year. At least, that’s what she told Cosmopolitan in the behind-the-scenes video that accompanies her March 2013 cover story. (She might be being hyperbolic.) The feature in its entirety was posted today after the very sexy cover leaked early.

As for the interview, Miley is… Well, she’s still just Miley. She talks about not wanting to be like Rihanna or Nicki Minaj (“That’s not my vibe”) along with welcoming the friendly competition that comes by way of her favorite homegirl Katy Perry.

“Katy Perry’s been my friend for fucking five years, and I’m not ever gonna let our work get between that relationship,” Cyrus says of Perry. She recalls her Disney days and says that her number one priority is her relationship with fiance Liam Hemsworth. Miley also continues that the key to a successful recording career is to have “Brazilians and gays on your side.”

She adds that the worst case scenario is that people won’t enjoy her fourth album, and that’s okay — but with collaborators like Mary J. Blige and Tyler, The Creator on the new record, that doesn’t seem likely. The full interview can be found on Cosmopolitan’s website, and the new issue hits stands February 5th.
