The Postal Service Announce U.S. Tour, Assisted By Jenny Lewis

The announcement that beloved alt pop duo The Postal Service were returning with new material after ten years felt like Christmas had come early, but now it’s like a million twee Christmases all happening at once: In addition to their previously touted Coachella performance, Ben Gibbard and Jimmy Tamborello will also be heading out on a full tour. A full tour! With stops all over the United States (well, basically California, the southwest, and New York), plus a few dates in Europe. So many teenage feelings.

Better still, they’ll be joined by another much-adored voice from the mid-noughties indie pop universe: Jenny Lewis, the original Manic Pixie Dream Girl and Rilo Kiley frontwoman, who will be in the band. Because that’s just how The Postal Service rolls. Check the full tour dates after the jump.
