Chvrches’ “Recover”: Hear How Scotland Is Stepping Up Its Synth-Pop Game
Scottish synth-pop trio Chvrches is back with “Recover,” their latest infectious morsel of bouncy synths and sugary vocals. Like their previous single “The Mother We Share,” this song is carried by singer Lauren Mayberry’s sweetly piercing melodies and the group’s ability to take cold synth textures and somehow make them swaddle the listener in warmth.
