Blondfire’s “Where The Kids Are” Music Video: Idolator Premiere

You may remember when brother-sister duo Blondfire (Erica and Bruce Driscoll) performed their live-for-the-moment anthem “Where the Kids Are” for us at Wax Studios in Hollywood back in December. As much as we love the video we shot of that thrilling performance, we’re now happy to premiere the song’s official music video.

Directed by Andrew Renzi, it’s set “where the kids are running free tonight,” which is alternately the wilderness, the highway and the club, among other places. Fireworks and colorful lighting capture the jubilant attitude of the guitar and synth-driven jam. “The song is about living in the moment and enjoying life, because you never know what tomorrow will bring,” Erica tells us. “The video follows different people as they pass through important and fun moments in life, the kind that stay with you forever.”

The duo’s Where the Kids Are EP is out now, and be on the lookout for Blondfire’s major-label debut LP, Young Heart, out later this year on Warner Bros.
