One Direction Premieres ‘1D3D’ Teaser: Watch
One Direction has released a sneak peek to the trailer — so, a trailer to their trailer — for their 3-D film 1D3D. The movie is due for a Labor Day 2013 release, and in fan speak, “Labor Day 2013” is “202 days from now.” According to the film’s official Twitter account @1D3Dmovie, the full trailer will be released shortly — that is, if fans complete a series of challenges. According to director Morgan Spurlock (yes, of Super Size Me), 1D3D aims to dissect the British boy band’s global takeover. In January, Spurlock said that he started shooting 1D3D last month in Tokyo, with a few key questions in mind: “These guys have gotten so huge in such a short amount of time. Why? What makes them more special than any other people?”
