Toni Braxton Says She’s Retiring From Music, For Now: Watch
Ah, the great Toni Braxton has taken more than her fair share of hits, hasn’t she? From legal drama to label drama, the powerhouse chanteuse hasn’t always had her fair chance to shine. And now, it seems, that may have finally gotten to her.
In an appearance on Good Morning America this morning to promote her new film, Braxton said that she’s hanging up her hat, at least for the time being. “I don’t feel the love for music anymore,” she said, a little bit sadly. “It’s not affecting me and making me feel that thing I always felt when I performed. It’s leaving me. I’m not sure what’s going on in my life… but my heart isn’t in it anymore.” Can’t argue with that, but our heart is still broken. Won’t someone unbreak it? Watch the clip up top.
