:: Justin Bieber tried to host a video chat just as the Grammys were beginning, but his multitudes of fans kept crashing the server; ultimately, he threw in the towel and just posted a demo of of his new tracks, an R&B tune called “You Want Me,” on SoundCloud. [MTV]

:: MC Lyte revealed that Lil Mama will be playing Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes in the forthcoming TLC biopic. The VH1 production is due out this year. [HipHollywood]

:: Lil Wayne jumps in on a remix of Future‘s “Karate Chop,” to say that he skateboards and beats “the p—- up like Emmett Till.” Till was murdered in 1955, and reactions to his death are largely acknowledged as the start of the civil rights movement. The song’s since been taken down. [Rap Radar]
