Loyal readers, it’s time you get to know L.A. band HAIM (rhymes with “time”…and “rhyme,” for that matter). There’s a lot to like about this trio of sisters: the liquid bass lines, the danceable clatter of percussion, the early-90s vocal earnestness. But the biggest reason we at Idolator have been spinning their music for the past few months is the dope harmonies. These California girls can sang.

So with new song “Falling” out today (February 11), and with the sibs opening for Mumford & Sons at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY tonight, we figure it’s time you familiarize yourself with HAIM — because pretty soon everyone else will. “Falling” is off their EP of the same name, out April 1, and you can hear the single below.
