Kings Of Leon, Kendrick Lamar, Ellie Goulding Heading To Hangout Fest: See The Lineup Announcement

Festival season hasn’t begun yet, but festival announcement season is in full swing. The latest conglomeration of bands, genres and food trucks to announce its lineup is the Hangout Music Fest, which takes place in Gulf Shore, AL on May 17-19. (Seems like a totally random spot for a music festival, but there’s a beach, which optimizes hangout vibes.) Kings of Leon and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers are headlining, with a third mystery headliner yet to be revealed — taking a page out of this year’s Governors Ball book.

Speaking of Gov Ball, Kendrick Lamar will be on hand for this festival and the NYC event. Of the remaining 50 acts on the Alabama bill, some others that will please pop-leaning fans include: The Roots, Passion Pit, Ellie Goulding, Public Enemy and The Shins. Watch the video announcing the full lineup below.
