Nicki Minaj Has A New Album Coming To Match Her Apparel Line

Nicki Minaj is everywhere these days. While late last year she dropped her third studio project Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded – The Re-Up in tandem with the news that she’s a judge on American Idol, she’s been full throttle ever since. Now, the wigged out rap vixen has some more projects on the horizon – ones that you can wear and hear.

Sure, that’s a little vague, but let’s get to the facts first. Nicki held a press conference this past week regarding her upcoming K-Mart apparel line. The clothing will be released in conjunction with ShopYourWay.com, and the Nickster sounds super amped about the opportunity. “This is like a very exciting moment for me,” she said at the press conference. “Teaming up with K-Mart and ShopYourWay.com is gonna give me a way to have my fans dress like me for an affordable price.”

Nicki assures that her Barbs will be dipped in the finest fabrics; no cheap stuff. Meanwhile, Nicki sat down with MTV to discuss her music. She’ll be dropping a video for her track with Lil Wayne, “High School,” in the very near future. Once that single officially releases, she’s back in the studio for another album. “I’ll be doing it here in L.A. while I’m shooting Idol,” she tells MTV. Perhaps the critiques she and her fellow judges provide for Idol contestants will be applied to her next album? We’ll just have to wait and see.
