Did You Hear?

:: While Adele just won Best Original Song at the Oscars for her 007 theme “Skyfall,” it seems as though she’s back on the Bond wagon. Apparently the producers were “thrilled” with Adele’s successful song and want her to sign on for the next film’s theme as well, hoping to make her as “synonymous with Bond as Dame Shirley (Bassey).” [The Sun]

:: Rihanna’s Unapologetic single “Pour It Up” has proved to be a hit in the clubs, but now Rih is taking it a step further. The Roc Nation singer is looking to release a massive remix of the track with some of hip-hop’s heavy hitters, including: Young Jeezy, 2 Chainz, Rick Ross, T.I. and Juicy J. That’s quite a lineup! :: Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole were rumored to be working together on a collaborative project; then we heard nothing more about it. Well, it’s officially happening, as the new school rappers already have “too many songs,” and according to J. Cole, it’s getting “mad competitive.” [MTV News]

:: M.I.A. may have an album titled MATANGI dropping soon, but for Paris’ Kenzo Fashion Show, the eclectic artist’s music was featured and called the MATANGI mix. Miss Maya went and dropped the mixtape on its own website, and it’s pure fire. [Pitchfork]
