AlunaGeorge’s “Attracting Flies” Video: These Aren’t The Fairy Tales Your Parents Read To You
AlunaGeorge premiered the dark video for their latest single “Attracting Flies,” and it’s like a modern, seedy romp through all your favorite childhood fairy tales. There’s not much of a narrative, but there are plenty of druggy allusions to classics like Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel, The Princess and the Pea, Goldilocks (with some particularly unappealing porridge) and more. Directed by Emil Nava, the clip has some beautifully framed shots and melds prettiness with an unnerving energy. Watch it up top.
“Attracting Flies” is off AlunaGeorge’s debut Body Music, which drops July 1.
